# rackx

> rackx is an audio-focused rack documentation workspace for integrators, technicians and venue teams. Its website is https://rack-x.app/.

The application documents clients, sites, rooms, racks, equipment, cabling, power and installation records. Physical audio connectors and leads can be documented between equipment within one rack. Current features include rack elevations, labels and QR links, reports, uploads, version history and team access.

The Hardware Library supports shared equipment definitions and private company models, with source evidence, verification status and model revisions. Installed equipment retains its recorded model revision. An initial researched set covers representative Symetrix, TOA, Powersoft and Behringer models; complete product ranges are still being researched, and some definitions have explicit review gaps. Manufacturer names do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Dedicated audio signal routing, source-to-speaker tracing, speaker zones, amplifier assignments and audio commissioning schedules are planned improvements. The homepage's audio signal illustration is a concept, not a demonstration of shipped routing capabilities. No release dates are promised.

Company records require an authenticated account and company membership. Access is available to existing accounts and invited team members; public registration is currently disabled. Demo records are synthetic examples. This overview describes the public product and does not publish company records or grant access to them.
